Inspired by the truss column structure in traditional Vietnamese architecture. Through the contemporary perspective distilled by Architect Truong Quang Vinh, the tea table is like a thank you, the absorption and continuation of young people to the culture and heritage of their ancestors. In the design of Tan An coffee table, in addition to the elaborate hand-perforated details on the table top, there is also a distinct highlight, which is the design of the table leg structure. This detail is inspired by Vietnamese architecture by the design team, with four round legs, interlocking wooden braces, fixed by wooden pegs with contrasting materials. Such a structure both strengthens the table and shows off the structure and hand-finished details. We consider our designs as an architectural work, in products with function, aesthetics, details, materials…
