The beauty of wood grain. The four doors of the Yên Cabinet are cut from a single board, so the grain runs unbroken across the whole front. It asks for careful selection of timber and patient, precise work in the workshop.

The body reads as one solid block of wood, set on slender legs built with traditional joinery, so the cabinet seems to float just above the floor.
