Hoang Sa coffee table set was designed by architect Truong Quang Vinh for ONON Details brand. Coffee table with ideas from water waves. A familiar image associates with the people of central Vietnam.
The waves, the original wood material combined with the “modern, minimalistic and going into detail” design, the Hoang Sa coffee table set creates a friendly, warm, quiet feeling but always in the motion of space and time.
Completely crafted from the hands of highly skilled carpenters, the table comes in three sizes (390, 600 and 900 mm across), used on its own or grouped as a set. The finished edges are smooth while the top of the table has wave details creating a very clear contrast. When the table is placed in an interior space, under different perspectives as we move the light change, the light intensity of light reflection changes.
The black of the table is created by hand-burning wood in the fire. Charcoal black, the original fissures of the wood material give a distinctive character in the details, and add affection in the space in which the item is present.
Hoàng Sa also comes in ceramic, hand-painted in cobalt blue under the glaze. Both the burnt wood and the ceramic versions are made in the Onon workshop in Da Nang.
The design of the coffee table is modern and friendly, so it is possible to combine the coffee table set in any space, combine with the sofa, armchair. All flexible spaces vary according to the aesthetic perception of each architect.
“Like the ripples of water, like the fluttering of the heart. Rhythm is what always creates the highlight…”
